Yuliya is a solicitor in our family team, able to advise on a wide range of issues arising out of relationship breakdown. Yuliya has expertise in all aspects of family law, including financial settlements on divorce, children disputes as well as pre- and postnuptial agreements.
Yuliya deals with multi-value divorces, often including extensive financial disclosure, non-matrimonial arguments, complex remuneration structures and international elements. She has experience in matters where there are allegations of abuse, and has a particular interest in cases where parents or their children have mental health issues or Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Yuliya has also acted for stay-at-home parents and their applications for a payment of legal services and interim maintenance pending legal proceedings.
Clients often refer to Yuliya’s ‘pragmatic’, ‘strategic’ and ‘efficient’ approach to matters.
Yuliya is a member of Resolution, a community of family professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a calm and constructive way. As such, Yuliya is committed to resolving family law issues in a non-confrontational manner where possible, but she is equally confident in litigating matters which require court intervention.
Yuliya speaks Ukrainian, Russian and French.
Yuliya has BA in Events Management, and worked in events, aviation and real estate, before changing her career to law.
She took the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP, London, and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, for which she received a distinction. Yuliya first worked as a paralegal and then trained at a City law firm. She qualified as a family solicitor in August 2020.
Following qualification, Yuliya developed her practice at a large law firm in the City and then a central London firm, before joining Peacock & Co.
