Nominate our Epsom charity for 2021

Being part of our community is important to us. Nominate an Epsom-based organisation to be our supported charity for 2021.

Supporting Epsom's community

Peacock & Co is soon to celebrate its 30th year in Wimbledon Village and in 2017 we opened our office in Epsom.

Being part of our community is important to us. Along with acting for residents and businesses, we try to support local initiatives, events, associations and charities, such as The Emily Davison Memorial Project, Epsom and Wimbledon Bookfest.

In 2020, for the first time, we have committed to supporting a nominated charity for the year. Local to our Wimbledon office, Merton Giving helps address inequality in our borough through community funding. (You can read more about their wonderful work here). In 2021 we would like to lend our support in Epsom.

Do you know, or are you involved in, a charitable organisation or community project that could benefit?

2020 has brought with it many challenges, and the ongoing effects of coronavirus have highlighted the acute need around us. To nominate a charity, we just need contact and website details and a short summary of the work the organisation does.

It would be helpful to know of any local fundraising you already have in your calendar as we may be able to support you in this. (We will again be offering will-writing for donations during Merton Giving Week, Monday 30th November – Sunday 6th December, for example.)

We would also like to hear if you have any suggestions for ways that we might be able to help in addition to financial donation. (For example, we have provided free legal advice at The Link Café drop-ins, supporting women escaping abuse. Or you may have a community project in mind that could do with some extra pairs of hands to get off the ground.)

The charity does need to be based or working in and around Epsom. We are proud to support larger organisations, such as St Raphael’s Hospice, but are keen that our supported charity for the year is locally run in order that we can best support you.

Sorry, submissions have now closed.
