Jane has specialised in family law for over 30 years and has extensive experience in dealing with cases involving people from all walks of life. She has a particular interest and expertise in dealing with the financial aspects of divorce, whether the assets are large or small, and in dealing with the issues which need to be resolved between cohabiting couples on relationship breakdown.

Jane also deals with cases involving the arrangements for and protection of children, and the protection of victims of coercive control and domestic abuse.

Her approach is hands on and pragmatic, firm but also sensitive. She will fight her client’s corner and at the same time insist on a sensible approach, giving realistic advice.

Jane trained as a professional musician at Dartington College of Arts before reading Law at University College London. She qualified as a solicitor in 1989 since which time she has specialised in family law.

Jane practised as a family law specialist in Holborn and the West End for over 25 years. More recently, she has practised at a boutique family law firm in the Thames Valley and now in Wimbledon.

“Many thanks for guiding me through this. Your advice and help has been much appreciated. You have been a pleasure to go through this matter with, and I personally loved dealing with you.  I would highly recommend you if anyone asks who they should engage with for a separation/divorce.”

“Thank you for your valued guidance, support and professionalism – truly appreciated.”

Jane lives on the river in Hammersmith and enjoys spending time with her two adult children, entertaining, music, books, film and her small studio apartment in the South of France.
