Peacock & Co are once again pleased to support the invaluable work of St Raphael’s Hospice by offering our will-writing service during Make Your Will Fortnight (10th-23rd May). Instead of our usual fee, we invite you to make a donation to this esteemed local organisation that provides invaluable end-of-life care and support within Merton and Sutton.
Locally run for over thirty years, St Raphael’s cares for over 1,000 patients and their families every year without charge, offering home-based and hospice care, wellbeing and bereavement support. The hospice costs over £6 million a year to run, so your help now is valued more than ever.
Thanks to your donations, we were able to raise a wonderful £2,517 for the last Make Your Will Fortnight, which was moved to last September from its usual spot in May. With national lockdown closing the charity’s community shops closed for so many months, your donations made the world of difference. We are delighted that 2021 has seen a new St Raphael’s Hospice shop arrive alongside us on the Wimbledon Village High Street.
Do you have a will in place? Have you got married, divorced, had children or grandchildren? There are many reasons to make or update your will – we detail just some of them here. Importantly, without a will, your estate may not pass automatically to those whom you intend.
